Diversity Ally of the Year
Our Diversity Ally of the Year Award celebrates an individual who is a shining example of how to be a true ally to others, showcased through their contribution to championing underrepresented groups in the tech community.
Criteria
Judges will be looking for an individual that has made an inspiring contribution to nurturing and supporting digital talent, helping to make the tech industry a more inclusive and welcoming space for all.
Successful nominations should:
- Outline the nominee's activities as an ally—this could be through mentorship, an initiative, program, or event
- Describe how they have gone above and beyond to champion and support those voices that have gone unheard previously
- Provide tangible examples of how they are making a difference in the tech community
- Reference anything else that supports their nomination as a diversity ally
