Claudia Winkleman announced as host of the UK Digital Revolution Awards ceremony 2026
The UK Digital Revolution Awards is delighted to announce that Claudia Winkleman will host the 2026 awards ceremony on April 22nd.
As one of the UK’s most recognisable and respected broadcasters, Claudia brings authority, warmth and sharp wit to the stage. Her appointment as host reflects the scale and ambition of the UK Digital Revolution Awards as it continues to celebrate the organisations, teams and leaders driving meaningful digital progress across the UK.
A host recognised by UK audiences
Claudia Winkleman is a BAFTA award-winning television presenter, radio personality, and journalist and is widely regarded as one of the UK’s best-known broadcasters. Known for her distinctive style and engaging on-screen presence, she has hosted some of the biggest shows on British television.
She has been a co-host of Strictly Come Dancing since 2012 and has presented acclaimed programmes including One Question and The Piano on Channel 4. She is also the face of the BBC’s hit series The Traitors, one of the most talked-about UK television shows of recent years.
In 2023, Claudia won her first BAFTA for Entertainment Performance for her work on The Traitors, underlining her reputation as one of the UK’s most trusted and compelling presenters.
Why Claudia is the right host for the UK Digital Revolution Awards
The UK Digital Revolution Awards recognises excellence in digital leadership, technology delivery and transformation impact. It celebrates organisations that are using technology to deliver measurable outcomes, improve experiences and build long-term capability.
Claudia’s experience hosting high-profile live broadcasts and nationally celebrated programmes makes her a natural fit for an evening that brings together senior leaders, innovators and delivery teams from across the UK digital landscape.
Her presence will help set the tone for an awards ceremony that balances insight, celebration, and credibility, reflecting the standards the awards are known for.
Beyond broadcasting
Alongside her broadcasting career, Claudia is a long-standing supporter of charitable causes and currently serves as a trustee of Comic Relief. She has fronted major UK live television events including Red Nose Day, Let’s Dance for Comic Relief, Sport Relief, and the Comic Relief Danceathon, helping to raise awareness and funds for organisations that support young people and communities in need.
This commitment to social impact closely reflects the values of the UK Digital Revolution Awards. In 2026, the awards is proud to support two charitable causes that are making a meaningful difference to young lives both in the UK and internationally.
We are once again raising funds to support St. Martin’s School in Kenya. Located in one of the poorest slums in Nairobi, the school provides children with a safe environment where they can eat, learn, and play. Through access to education, stability, and care, St. Martin’s School empowers young people to build a better future.
The 2026 ceremony will also raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. As the only UK charity providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer, Teenage Cancer Trust funds specialist nurses, youth support teams, and dedicated hospital units within the NHS. Their work ensures young people receive the best possible care during treatment and beyond, so cancer does not prevent them from living their lives.
Guests, partners and supporters can learn more about both causes and contribute to this year’s fundraising efforts via the official Digital Revolution Awards fundraising page.
Support our 2026 charity partners
By supporting these charities, the UK Digital Revolution Awards aims to create impact beyond the ceremony itself, using the platform to give back and support causes that align with the values of the digital community it brings together.
