Meet the Winners – Capgemini

The trophies have been given out, toasts have been made and the canapés have been eaten. After four fantastic global events recognizing the work of organizations and individuals across the cloud industry, the Digital Revolution Awards 2023 season has come to a close.

Throughout the Digital Revolution Awards 2023 events, we saw many outstanding winners take the stage, receiving a round of applause for making a positive impact on our world through cloud technology.

Now it’s time to shine a spotlight on some of those worthy victors and showcase the fantastic work that made them winners in the Digital Revolution Awards.

In this Meet the Winners blog, we’re getting to know our Best Salesforce Partner to Work For (UK) winner, Capgemini.

Our Best Salesforce Partner to Work For award celebrates the most well-rounded Salesforce partner; one with a laser-like focus on all elements of the partner’s employee brand.

There is certainly no shortage of Salesforce Partners operating in the market today, and given the predicted growth of the ecosystem over the coming years, there are bound to be more joining the ranks in the future.

But which one offers the best experience for its employees? Which delivers the sense of purpose, belonging, and professional growth that cloud professionals want?

We were looking for a Salesforce partner that is doing great things to make its employees’ working lives better, whether through Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives, CSR efforts, or sustainability work. Other factors we wanted to see were an internal drive to improve employee health and wellbeing, accessible training and certification options, and a drive to diversify talent attraction and retention in the partner ecosystem.

Our winner was an organization that ticked all those boxes and more. Our judges recognized that Capgemini puts its heart and soul into developing initiatives to allow its employees to bring their whole selves to work.

This organization has fostered inclusivity by creating spaces for employees of all backgrounds to get support with its extensive group of communities and networks. Capgemini has also dedicated itself to helping displaced people access life-changing opportunities in the Salesforce ecosystem through its work with Blue Road Academy; growing the Salesforce talent pool and transforming lives at the same time.

Having been in partnership with Salesforce for over 15 years, a big part of Capgemini’s successful collaboration is based on the two companies’ shared values and commitments, including Diversity and Inclusion, Digital Inclusion and Environmental Sustainability.

Making sure there’s a space for all employees to feel valued, heard, and supported, Capgemini operates a wide range of community groups in which its people can share experiences. Among these groups are its Armed Forces Network, CapAbility (Disability and carers) OUTfront (LGBT+), REN (Race & Equality Network), Talking Heads (Mental Health) and Women@Capgemini UK.

The win in our Best Salesforce Partner to Work For category is the latest in the company’s list of achievements, and the first specifically for its Salesforce practice. Currently, Capgemini is top of the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List and has appeared in The Times’ Top 50 Employers for Women list for the past six years.

Capgemini is also giving its employees purpose and a sense of achievement through its external work. Aiming to help address the impact of the digital revolution and make technology an opportunity for all, the company has partnered with RefugeeForce (now Blue Road Academy), a program that trains and finds employment for refugees and asylum seekers within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Capgemini has already offered four graduates from the Blue Road Academy a position within its Salesforce practice. It’s also helping clients achieve Net Zero through its Enterprise Sustainability Proposition program that uses Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.

Here’s a snippet of what our judges thought about Capgemini’s employee experience efforts:

“It was a pretty clear choice with Capgemini. They have lots of DEI initiatives and CSR and sustainability actions that are being taken, for example, The Armed Forces Network capability, disability, and LGBT+ engagements.”

“Also on the sustainability side, they address climate change with Salesforce Net Zero Cloud, which is a really good initiative.”

“What I liked about Capgemini was all the different elements, especially around RefugeeForce.”

We caught up with Capgemini’s UK Head of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Corrina Jacobs, at the UK ceremony.

“It’s amazing, it’s a huge achievement,” Corrina said. “We’ve worked so hard for a number of years to build up the practice we’ve got.

“Our entry was all around explaining what we do, how our values link to Salesforce’s values, and how community is really important to us. We get involved in the ecosystem just to give people the opportunity to grow themselves, just to get out there and have fun at the same time as working.

“It’s been an amazing night, we’ve had a lot of fun—and this is actually the first awards we’ve entered so it’s really good to win!”
