Tom Allen to host the Digital Revolution Awards

The Digital Revolution Awards is delighted to announce award-winning comedian Tom Allen as host of its London awards ceremony. The event takes place at the incredible Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday 15th May, 2024.

Allen has become a household name in the United Kingdom, with his Absolutely stand-up tour selling over 50,000 tickets across 2018-19, including a date at the London Palladium which was filmed and broadcast on Channel 4. His TV credits include hosting BBC’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired show, as well as starring on the Great British Bake Off’s spin-off An Extra Slice.

As well as becoming a firm favorite as a presenter and comedian, he has also written two Sunday Times bestselling memoirs as well as hosting the podcast Like Minded Friends with fellow comedian and friend Suzi Ruffell. His acting work has seen him appear in films alongside Hollywood heavyweights John Malkovich and James McAvoy.

“I’ve been a big fan of Tom’s for many years and it’s a real dream to be able to welcome him to the Digital Revolution Awards,” said Kashif Naqshbandi, co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer. “Our awards ceremony and fundraiser has helped celebrate the tech industry while making a meaningful contribution to our charity partners for several years now, and Tom is the perfect person to represent this with warmth, sincerity, and of course, his trademark humor. I look forward to welcoming him to the Grosvenor Hotel as we look to celebrate the best in tech as well as raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust and St. Martin’s School.”

Tickets for the event, in the heart of England’s capital on the city’s prestigious Park Lane, are available to purchase now.
